desperately need help to ORGANIZE college girl's SMALL ROOM ! ?

my room is a tiny little square with no wall storage (i cant bore holes either, its a rented place.. any suggestions)

ok.. so my room is roughly 11.45 by 12 feet. there is also a little space in front of my bathroom door that is an addition 4.5 by 4 feet. i omitted the space from my mini closet and bathroom lol, they are too tiny to organise (unless i do that over the toilet shelving thing.. well if u have any ideas, u can still mention them)

in this space currently i have my twin sized bed (6.7 by 3.3), an old wooden vanity with six drawers and a huge desk with 3 drawers (collectively they take up 4.2 by 4.3 or the space) i have a minifridge and microwave on to of it. a lil lounge chair and stool (planning on removing these) and a bookcase. untop of all that i have two short chests of drawers that i currently have in front of my bathroom door... ya that lil space.

okay so.. i hope someone could help me with some storage options that arent too permanent and expensive.

i have no problem with clothes or shoes, books are basically taken care of.. what i need storage for is the hobbies i will be taking up in a while. :| i got a sewing machine and i am planning on sewing and knitting very soon! also i am expanding my makeup collection and i would like to store all these items:

jewelry
makeup
nail polish
sewing materials and tools (planning on making that big desk my station)
and food... yes, lol i have a tucked away mini 2 burner to cook on.

thanks alot for whatever info you are able to give :D
OH!! big info, i live in Jamaica so almost everything not accessible to me i will have to order online
also, i am not planning on moving anytime soon. may be here for another 4 - 6 years

Wow, you do have some issues but you can use your imagination a bit and try a few of these things to gain space. The best place that is often overlooked is the use of the space under your bed. Since you have a twin bed, maybe you can find a platform of some sort that would add storage under the bed. There are a few ideas that can be used for that, like building a bunch of small wooden boxes with spaces underneath. Place your bed on top and voila you have storage underneath. As long as it will sturdily hold your bed on them, you’ve gained a whole lot of storage. Then you have to think "multi-use" furniture. If you have a desk of some sort it may have to do double duty, so maybe a few small bookcases along one wall topped with a wooden door will add that long table you can use for studying, sewing and knitting. If you are really short you can think above your bed too! The fact is if you could build anything that could frame your bed, give you storage underneath and above, then you’ve added even more storage without compromising space. Find someone who might be able to build it for you and for the price of some lumber and nails you could have something useful for the small room you have. Also another idea is a foot stool with storage inside. Like an ottoman. They are common and easy to order as well. Good luck!

    hello :)
it looks like, if you live in Jamaica and you would like inexpensive storage solutions then you should probably be able to make them, or use old objects for storage.
Are you sure you don’t already have any boxes lying around with things in?
Any shoeboxes, cardboard boxes etc can be re decorated with funky prints and paint.
You really do need to sort through some items- remember you can always Ebay some of them and leave space for other things.
Maybe think about the shelves being taller rather than wider- this means that it will take up less width.
Also, posters and pictures on the walls can appear to add clutter so these can be removed.
Make sure you keep craft things in all one box, this could be slotted underneath your bed, another area for storage.
    Good luck!
