help with painting colours?
Hello
I would love to paint my living room and bedroom and need help with painting colours.
My living room
I have a hunter green couch black coffee and end tables and entertainment center
Hunter green valance and black blinds
My bedroom
Is black firnature with stainless steal knobs. I was going to wrap my box spring in red and put black sheets on my bed! I was going to look for either a black and red comforter or black and grey. But I can go with a different color If anyone has any good ideas.
If you can maybe provide links that would be great.
Also my living room leads to up stairs what should I do carry the living room color into the up stairs and the hallway up stairs? Or can I go with a different color that would look good off the living room?
Bathroom
White cabnets
A greenish blue counter top
Med brown tile in the shower and beige tile on the floor.
I also have 3 stained med brown wood pieces in the bathroom for shelving.
If you can provide links to the colors that would be great

I love Behr paint RIPE WHEAT. It’s a very calm relaxing light yellow almost beige color. When the sunlight hits it, it is awesome! I think this would work well in your room. Go to Behr website – you can order small sample can for about $3.00 I think. I love Behr paint.
my favorite colors are:
Ripe Wheat (light yellow), Honey Bear (mid yellow), Wild Bamboo (darker yellow), Rejuvenate (light green), Mother Nature (mid range green) and Sagey (mid range green). I’ve used all of these plus a maroon color that I don’t remember name – whites, beiges, etc. Also do a antique look with beige and green. Behr is great paint.
Living room: Hunter green is really dated; can you get a slipcover in brown or beige? If not, khaki walls (tan with a green undertone), spray paint the blinds white or replace with sheers, throw away the valance, add draperies in a dark tan or medium golden brown. I’d also paint the entertainment center and tables in a very dark brown. If you don’t want to do that, definitely slipcover the sofa — in tan, caramel, gray, or white, substitute white sheers for the blinds, very light gray or tan walls, touches of red in accessories, light drapes. Or charcoal walls and white slipcover and drapes with white, gray or black furniture. Ralph Lauren has/had furnishings using hunter green: http://www.ralphlauren.com.
If there’s no wall break between the living room and stairs, use the living room wall color. You could paint the stair wall a different color, but you have a lot going on in the living room and should probably have a light color for a staircase, so I’d use the khaki, pale gray, or tan you choose for the living room.
Bedroom
You can put a fitted bottom sheet over the box springs. Your color choices work with the black furniture.
Bathroom
If you like the countertop color, use it on the walls. Otherwise, a medium tan with brown and greenish-blue towels.
just my opinions
Just keep one thing in mind that always do painting with light color inside. It gives relaxation to the light also give piece of mind.
