Makeup storage and organization tips?
Hi! I am looking for a new way to store my makeup, curling/straightening irons, nail polish, and nail care stuff. I have so much and it is hard to find a way to organize it in a way that is convenient but cute. I just cleaned it all out so please don't recommend getting rid of everything. I currently am keeping my makeup in a rolling cart of 4 shallow drawers and 1 deeper drawer. It isn't enough! I have all of my hair stuff in a bathroom drawer and my nail stuff in a decorative box. Everything is just thrown in the drawers and boxes and i find myself having to spend a lot of time trying to find a certain product or item. Please help me! What are some good ideas to store everything in a smaller area? Should i get a vanity? Shelving? More drawers?......etc! Any tips are welcome! Thanks!

well ill tell you what i do:
for Nail polish you can keep them in your decorative box and organize them and that will probably leave more room,but if there isnt on room then you can get a shoebox maybe and put them in there and decorate the box!
For youre makeup oranganize youre makeup in the drawers you already have and if you have containers lying around you can put some of your makeup in there like one container with all foundation another will concealer or all concealers and foundations in one drawer.Just basically makeup from the same group liek face stuff in one drawer.
If thats still not enough you can get some more drawers at walmart for cheap and store more items!
as far as the make up goes, the best i could suggest is buying neutrogena stuff. i used to have a lot of make up too, but since i started using that i havent had much need for a lot of the other stuff. it covers better than anything else ive ever tried and each item comes in a pretty convenient container.
as far as all of the other stuff, ive seen some pretty creative ways to put it up (the phrase "store it" doesnt quite work here).
a metal sheet(not like scrap metal, but like a nice looking panel of stainless steel) on the wall, and attache small magnets to all of the smaller items and stick em up there, and you can just group similar items together, or line them up. this idea would be somewhat time consuming to begin with, but super convenient when its done.
also, ive found that hanging things on the walls is the best thing to do. put up hooks that you can hang your straightener and other stuff on, just put it somewhere neat, make it look like that spot was meant for it, kind of like in a hotel bathroom(if that makes any sense).
