Need help organizing laundry room?

I have a relatively small laundry room and limited wall space to hang organizers. Although I have 3 cabinets, they are not very functional for laying clothes to dry or hanging clothes or even storing large detergent bottles.
Ideally I need something to help me keep laundry separated (darks, lights, towels) and something to lay (not hang!) wet clothes to dry.
Any suggestions?
